Pro-Vac is a sewer maintenance company based in Washington, but quickly becoming nationwide. They have an imperative function in each community they service – and video was used to spread the word.
Two Days and a Tight Schedule
Since Pro-Vac is based in Washington, our goal was to capture as much content as possible. Working closely with management, we were able to put together a timetable of interviews and B-Roll to capture the various aspects of their business.

First Things First, The Company Story
Having virtually no video content, it made sense to start with a Company Story video – the overarching principles and variety of services that make up Pro-Vac’s business.
It’s featured proudly on the front page of their website.
The Monthly Video Plan
We interviewed about 15 employees, each speaking in their area of expertise. It served as the foundation for a new video each month, highlighting the various aspects of their business.
On the subjects that couldn’t quite round out a full video, we created an “FAQ” format to package together the shorter information. It worked out that each month was either a full video or 2 FAQ-style videos.

Accompanying Blogs
Along with each video, we create a blog post to really bolster the SEO power. Appearing organically in online searches is imperative for any business and video helps move the needle.
One of Pro-Vac’s main services is Hydro-Excavation.
If you Google “What is Hydro-Excavation?” video previews are listed ABOVE search results – and Pro-Vac’s video is ranked 1st! Not to mention the accompanying blog post is ranked 3rd in the link section 🙂
Opportunity for Graphics
As with any difficult to explain service, graphics can really help potential customers visualize the process. Educational content positions your company as the leader in the industry and offers value to potential clients.
For us, it’s an excuse to build some fun graphics!
Built from Zero
When we first took hold of their YouTube channel, Pro-Vac only had 1 video of some drone shots. Since then, we’ve completed over 25 videos with more than a few at over 1K views – and our Hydro-Excavation video mentioned above at over 15K!
